See when you are both free

Closer finds a moment you and somebody you care about are both free, suggests something to do with it, and books it when you both say yes. Without either of you handing over your diary.

How it works

1

Connect a calendar, or don’t

Google, Apple, Outlook, or any subscription link. Closer reads busy times only — never titles, never guests. You can also just tick the evenings you are usually free and skip calendars altogether.

2

Say who is in your circle

A partner, family, friends, housemates. You set how you know each person, and how much of your week they see: that you are free, that you are busy, or what you are doing.

3

Closer finds the evening and suggests the plan

On whatever rhythm you choose — every week, once a month. It looks for an evening you are both free and proposes something you would both actually like.

4

You both say yes

Then it is a plan, on both of your screens. One tap to swap it for another evening if it does not suit.

What the other person sees

Your events show as “Busy”, with their times and nothing else, unless you tick the box to share what one is. The title is removed on the server before the page is built, so there is nothing to find by looking. Your notes are yours. Your bills are yours until you share one.

The whole of it is in the privacy policy, which is written to be read.

Asking for an invitation

Closer is invitation only. That is on purpose: everybody here was asked by somebody already in, which is what keeps a household’s evenings out of a stranger’s hands.

Leave your name and Closer will pass it on. If the answer is yes, you will get a link by email from a person, not from a robot — and that link is what sets up your profile.

Only so somebody can answer you. Closer does not send anything else to it.
